Douglas Heel will be teaching his Be Activated® technique in this Level 1 workshop.
The fundamental principles of breathing and movement drive each of us. Defensive patterns develop which then create muscle limitations that can restrict activity, strength and range of motion. Be Activated® technique incorporates a series of simple muscle resistance and flexibility tests that provide a base measure. The manual techniques are applied and functional tests are repeated. The results are measurable and immediate, but what is most important is the feeling the body has returning to its ideal state of movement.
Learn and feel how these changes in your body and mind can improve athletic performance, bring you to a calm, focused and parasympathetic state, while preventing and reducing injury.
Now the fun really starts, based on the strong foundations you’ve built from Level 1.
The principles of Level 2 are to deepen your understanding of the techniques, and to answer any questions since taking Level 1.
By now you’ll have integrated the Be Activated® system into your work, and you’ll no doubt be thinking – What’s next?! I want more!
You’ll learn how to apply the Activation techniques in wider functional situations, and we’ll address any challenges you might be experiencing with your clients. On Level 2 we’ll cover more Be Activated® techniques to really dig deep, and I’ll demonstrate a full assessment and treatment on a client.
We’ll build on your knowledge by applying the techniques to movement patterns, zones of transformation, and exercise.
I’ll introduce new concepts around visual field stress patterns, and look at breaking associated belief patterns.
Be Activated® Level 2 will reinforce the skills you already have and equip you with some powerful new tools.
